Deep in the heart of the Wild and Scenic Section of the Lower Rogue River, Paradise Lodge awaits.
The noise, smog, and anxiety of paved-road civilization are unknown here- the only access to Paradise Lodge is by foot, river or air.
Paradise Lodge is located on the Wild and Scenic Rogue River in an area rich with diverse wildlife and dense Oregon forests and is just below Blossom Bar and Devils Staircase rapids.
Whether you're looking for a quiet getaway or an exciting adventure, Paradise Lodge offers some of the most rewarding hiking, rafting, fishing, and jet boating in the northwest.
Paradise Lodge, originally homesteaded in 1903, is one of a handful of the genuine remaining wilderness lodges in the United States. In spite of the remote location and restricted access to the area, the Lodge has all the amenities of a cozy bed and breakfast and the rustic charm of the historical landmark that it is.
The philosophy and charisma of Paradise are demonstrated by the hand carved welcome sign that hangs at the entrance to the lodge: "There are no strangers, just folks we haven't met yet."
Take time out to retreat to the natural tranquility of Paradise Lodge. On any given day you can hike up or down river on the famous Rogue River Trail, or up to Deek's Peak, swim in the swimming hole of Paradise Creek, or float down a calm stretch of the river or simply relax on the deck overlooking the beautiful Rogue River . Our guests come back again and again, calling it a trip of a lifetime.
