Lodge and Facilities
Whether young or old, "There's lots to do or lots of nothing to do at Paradise". Your time is your own - except meal times (which are scheduled). Everything else that you do is up to you.
- With miles of trails in every direction, some of the most beautiful hikes in Oregon are right here at Paradise Lodge, including the famous Rogue River Trail that runs 38 miles from Galice to Foster Bar, with Paradise in the middle.
- Many fine swimming holes in the Rogue River or Paradise Creek is a short walk from your room.
- Salmon, steelhead and trout can be caught just minutes from your room, with many secluded fishing spots nearby.
- Wildlife viewing is extraordinary! Paradise is in the heart of the Wild and Scenic Rogue River, a protected area that contains some of the most diverse wildlife in the country.

How big is 80 acres when it is inside tens of thousands of acres? Bigger than you can imagine!
The grounds at Paradise Lodge are yours to explore and in either direction you can connect to the Rogue River Trail for miles of walking, and photo opportunities up or down river.
Walk on the lawns, drive golf balls, play horseshoes, visit the Rogue Museum, photograph bears and deer, and see a Pelton wheel in action (yes, we generate our own electricity).
